Pricing

Fixed price, not open-ended hours

Many providers quote Power Automate work by the hour or on an open-ended monthly arrangement. PulseForge quotes a fixed price after a short paid assessment, so you know the cost before work starts — and if automation is not worth doing, we tell you in writing.

How we build

Automations often fail because nobody planned for what goes wrong. Every PulseForge build includes:

  • Exception handling — missing data, duplicates, unavailable systems and rejected approvals are designed for up front.
  • Monitoring and alerts — failures are visible, not silent.
  • Runbook and named owner — your team knows how it works and who looks after it.
  • Your accounts, your licences — built in your own Microsoft 365 tenant, with a documented way to switch it off.
  • Handover your IT provider can run — no lock-in to PulseForge.
  • A baseline first — we record how long the work takes today, so improvement can be measured.

Where we work

Melbourne-based, Australia-wide

PulseForge is based in Melbourne and works with firms across Australia — Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and regional areas. Most automation work is delivered remotely in your own Microsoft 365 tenant; workshops run on Teams, with onsite sessions in Melbourne by appointment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Power Automate consultant cost?

At PulseForge, an Automation Assessment is $990 ex GST (credited in full against a build signed within 30 days of the assessment report), Simple builds start at $2,900 and Standard builds at $4,900 ex GST. In our review of prices published by Australian automation providers (October 2026), a single workflow commonly ranged from about $2,500 to $12,000 depending on complexity.

Do I need extra Power Automate licences?

Often not. Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard and Premium include Power Automate with standard connectors (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and more). Premium connectors need a Power Automate Premium or Process licence; we check this in the assessment and quote it before you commit.

Can you work with our existing IT provider?

Yes. PulseForge is project-only and does not provide managed IT services. We build in your tenant and write the handover so your IT provider can support it.

Do you work outside Melbourne?

Yes. We work with firms across Australia. Most work is delivered remotely; onsite workshops are available in Melbourne by appointment.

How long does a build take?

A Simple build typically takes one to two weeks after the assessment and access are in place, followed by a 30-day stabilisation period. Standard builds take longer depending on the systems involved.

What happens after handover?

You own the flows. Optional Care plans ($750 or $1,250 per month ex GST) cover business-hours monitoring, fixes and small changes — or you can hand the documented build over to your IT provider.
