The problem

Where the hours go

  • Creating the same project folders, Teams channels and Planner boards by hand for every new job.
  • Chasing approvals through email threads and remembering who signed off what.
  • Saving documents and drawings to the right SharePoint location with the right name.
  • Copying client and project details between Outlook, spreadsheets and other business apps.
  • Onboarding new staff into the right teams, groups and folders.

None of these needs new software. They need the Microsoft 365 you already pay for to be set up properly and connected.

Our approach

Foundation first, then automation

Automation only works on a tidy foundation. Where SharePoint structure or permissions are messy, we fix that first as a fixed-scope project, then automate on top. If the foundation is fine, we go straight to the workflows.

One-click project setup

Teams channel, SharePoint folders, Planner plan and kickoff checklist — the same way every time.

Approvals in Teams

Requests, reminders and escalation with a clear record of decisions.

Document routing

Files land in the right library, named correctly, with the right access.

Staff onboarding

New starters added to the right teams, groups and folders automatically.

Standard

How we build

  • Exception handling — missing data, duplicates, unavailable systems and rejected approvals are designed for up front.
  • Monitoring and alerts — failures are visible, not silent.
  • Runbook and named owner — your team knows how it works and who looks after it.
  • Your accounts, your licences — built in your own Microsoft 365 tenant, with a documented way to switch it off.
  • Handover your IT provider can run — no lock-in to PulseForge.
  • A baseline first — we record how long the work takes today, so improvement can be measured.

Where we work

Australia-wide

PulseForge is based in Melbourne and works with firms across Australia — Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and regional areas. Most automation work is delivered remotely in your own Microsoft 365 tenant; workshops run on Teams, with onsite sessions in Melbourne by appointment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What can be automated in Microsoft 365?

Common examples are project and client setup, approvals, document filing, reminders, staff onboarding and enquiry routing — using Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, Planner and Outlook, which most Microsoft 365 business plans already include.

Do we need to replace our project or practice software?

No. We automate around the tools you already use and connect to supported business apps where it makes sense. We do not implement replacement systems.

Is our SharePoint ready for automation?

The assessment checks structure, permissions and naming. If clean-up is needed, we quote it separately as a fixed-scope project before any automation is built.

How much does it cost?

Automation Assessment $990 ex GST (credited to the build), Simple builds from $2,900 and Standard builds from $4,900 ex GST. Optional Care from $750/month.

Do you replace our IT provider?

No. PulseForge is project-only and works alongside your IT provider; the handover is written so they can support what we build.
